Internship financial model regenerative agriculture
Apeldoorn, NL
Are you a student interested in working in a professional research environment? Are you passionate about sustainable innovation and do you want to have an impact on the transition in the agricultural sector? Apply now and join us at our R&D department Plant Based Solutions!
The Challenge
The arable sector is a strongly changing environment driven by increasing pressure from legislation, changing consumer preferences, societal pressure and requirements from food chain partners focused on food safety and environmental impact. The combination of an increasingly extensive rotation scheme and reduction of synthetic products leads to uncertainty about the revenue of growers and supply uncertainty for chain partners.
Agrifirm is supporting growers in their economic and ecological transition by investing in solutions that counteract cultivation issues (such as abiotic climate stress or disease pressure) while maintaining measurable quantity and quality with reduced environmental impact.
Regenerative cultivation methods provide different opportunities to farmers to deal with climate extremes, comply to stricter legislation and be an attractive partner for food chain partners focusing on soil health, reduced climate impact, water quality and biodiversity.
