Do you have experience with leading big / medium size technical projects? Are you challenged to continuously improve our complex collaborative processes and organization, all the way from improvement identification to implementation into the line organization? Then we are looking for you!
 

The Challenge
As a Project Manager, you will lead big / medium size projects in our factories. You are part of the CAPEX and Technology team and they aim as a business to bring project management to a higher level. The team has big ambitions, but isn’t that experienced yet. Therefore we are looking for an experienced project lead to bring the team, as well the different projects in the Netherlands and Belgium (if needed other countries as well) to a higher level.

Besides the innovation space you are also sparring partner and challenger for the directors as well work closely with the operators to support them with all the challenges they are facing.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Defining project mission and objectives in consultation with the (internal) clients in terms of goal, result, output and required people and resources;
  • Prepare and implement the project plan, monitoring, adjusting (if necessary) and coordinate project progress with the project team and internal client;
  • Prepare investment proposals with the aim of effectively and efficiently achieving agreed project objectives
  • Pro-actively leverages and maintains a broad network throughout the organization;
  • Can clearly bring a message, explaining why, how and what is needed to make the next step;
  • Defines and executes appropriate interventions to mitigate project risks;
  • Keeps track of progress/status and report transparently as well from a financial perspective;
  • Is fully at ease in working on all levels from management to operational levels.


The CAPEX & Technology team consists of 9 colleagues. You will work closely with all of them. In this position you report to the Global CAPEX & Technology Lead, Paweł Kapiński.


What's on your resume?

  • Has Bachelor or master degree, preferably Engineering background;
  • Has proven experience (3+ year) with Project management;
  • Has experience in working in a (technical) industrial service environment with process improvement processes within scope;
  • Is certified in Prince2 or similar;
  • Has knowledge of / experience with Lean is preferred;
  • Thanks to a solid no-nonsense approach, you are able to act in a result-oriented manner in a fast-changing environment;
  • You have a real hands on attitude and you can combine the business partnership with result-oriented execution and implementation;
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language.

Our offer

An independent and varied position with a broad portfolio of responsibilities for 40 hours a week with a hybrid workplace; you work partly from home and partly from the different factories in The Netherlands and Belgium (if needed other countries as well) – short business trips.
