What do you do as an employee of Learning & Development at Agrifirm?

I have been working at Learning & Development since July 2023. The team at L&D consists only of women. Enthusiastic ladies with a lot of positive energy who know how to get things done!

  • What energizes you in your work?

    I mainly get energy from a nice team where there is sociability and freedom to be yourself. I also get energy from (being allowed to) develop myself and where I can actually mean something for others through my work. This gives me a satisfied feeling.

What is unique about working at Agrifirm?

Agrifirm's driving force is that we contribute to a responsible food chain for future generations. This is implemented in decisions in which the farmer is central. In addition, Agrifirm is a company where, as an employee, you have many opportunities for development and personal growth. There is a culture at the office where the threshold is always low, which makes is easy to work together. Your colleagues are always willing to help you or share knowledge with you.

What career move did you make at Agrifirm?

I started at Agrifirm as an Invoicing Officer Internal Plant. Then I moved up to Inbound Supply Chain Planner Fertilizers. I was able to make a next stap in the company and saw this as a great opportunity. After a few months at the latter position, I found out that the position didn't quite suit me. Therefore, this year (2023) I made a switch to Learning & Development.

I am very happy that within Agrifirm they listen to who I am as a person and what suits me. There is a wide range of vacancies so there is almost always something that suits your wishes and qualities.
