How did you know Agrifirm?

Agrifirm was one of the sponsors of my PhD project, which is how I got to know Agrifirm and how I became involved in the company from a distance. After graduating, I worked in different sectors for several years. When I saw the position for project manager at Agrifirm I was immediately excited and thought it was time to start working at Agrifirm.

  • What gives you energy in your work?

    The fact that we are working on a highly innovative technology that will contribute significantly to sustainability and circular technology within the animal nutrition sector.

What are you proud of?

The fact that we are working on a very challenging project. I work in a very young but ambitious team within Agrifirm. And the fact that Agrifirm had the courage to take on such projects is very challenging, but even if it succeeds in changing the way of working in the animal feed sector in the coming years, the traditional way of working will change, because it is not sustainable. 

Wat is jullie bijdrage aan een verantwoorde voedselketen?

De huidige wetgeving is gericht op duurzaamheid. Bij Exlan helpen we onze klanten om binnen die wetgeving te opereren. Daarbovenop hebben we een aantal innovatieve projecten opgezet, om vooruit te lopen op aankomende wet- en regelgeving. Denk hierbij aan future proof stalontwerpen die goed zijn voor dier en klimaat. Zo is al ons werk is gericht op een duurzame voedselketen voor toekomstige generaties.
